The remix was posted to TikTok in mid-2024, leading to AI-generated memes that rotoscoped characters onto a clip posted by British TikToker @incogwhydee, using the AI video tool ViggleAI and AI voice tools like ElevenLabs. Some of the most viral iterations featured characters from SpongeBob SquarePants, Regular Show and Smiling Friends.

The llddis "Broke Ass N***as" TikTok refers to a viral video posted by TikToker @llddis (aka llddiiss or Lilly Gaddis) in June 2024, in which she's seen wearing an apron, cooking and ranting about how everybody she knows is married to "broke ass n***as," saying, "Everybody I know who's married right now, they're married to broke ass n***as." llddis, a white woman, shocked many viewers with her casual use of the N-word as the clip garnered attention online in June 2024. The video also spread to Twitter / X where more memes and viral reactions ensued. llddis later deleted the video and posted a response in which she doubled down by harking on her First Amendment rights and opposing people who called her racist. Her TikTok account was later suspended. Lilly Gaddis was fired from her job at Rophe of the Carolinas soon after via a post on the company's Instagram account @ropheotc.
