Chance Perdomo Motorcycle Accident, also known as Chance Perdomo's Death, refers to a motorcycle crash involving British-American actor Chance Perdomo in late March 2024. Perdomo’s publicist confirmed his passing in a statement to the press but didn't disclose the location of his death. The news became a viral topic on Twitter / X and TikTok as fans of the actor mourned his sudden passing, while others reminded some of his controversies, alleging the actor was taken out of Gen Vs new season trailer because of his anti-vaccine statements and that the actor purportedly followed incel accounts that often posted transphobic, racist and misogynistic content.

The Sophie Rain Spiderman Video is a purported leaked adult video of influencers and sisters Sophie Rain and Sierra Rain wearing black, skin-tight Spider-Man outfits. The rumored video began spreading in February 2024 along with photos of the two wearing the Spider-Man outfits purportedly taken from the scene, with many posts claiming to have the video and linking to Discord pages where people can supposedly find or watch it. The photo comes from a post to Sophie Rain's OnlyFans account made in September 2023, purportedly advertising the video between herself and Sierra, however, if the video exists, it does not appear to have been leaked to any viral extent and the majority of posts claiming to have it are potential engagement bait and scams.

For Sale: Baby Shoes, Never Worn is a quote popularly attributed to Ernest Hemingway, and it is said he wrote it in a bet among fellow writers to create a sad story using only six words. The story seems to imply a couple is selling baby shoes they never gave to their child due to a tragedy such as a miscarriage. While the legitimacy of the story is debated among historians, the catchphrase itself became highly recognizable and has long been parodied, perhaps for over a century. Online, these parodies could make the phrase a point of comparison between image captions that seem to tell sad stories or tweak the phrase itself to alter the implied meaning.

Going Out Like Stan Chera is a quote reportedly said by former President Donald Trump during his October 2020 bout with COVID-19. According to reports, Trump repeatedly asked those around him if he was "going out like Stan Chera," referring to the real estate mogul Stan Chera who went into a coma and died earlier that year due to the coronavirus. Since the quote was published in late 2020, it has often been used as a catchphrase on Twitter to comment on things that are perceived to be near death.
